EMI shielding covers and frames
EMI shielding covers and frames isolate sensitive components on PCBs.
EMI shielding covers and frames can be used to cover one or more sensitive electronic components on a printed circuit board (PCB) to prevent electromagnetic (EMI/CEM) or radio frequency (RF) interference.
The EMI shielding cover can be soldered directly to the board or assembled using an EMI shielding frame or clips soldered to the PCB. This type of assembly facilitates assembly and future maintenance operations. The clips also free up space on the PCB. EMI shielding frames provide multi-cavity EMC shielding in a single part.
Covers and EMI shielding frames can be standard (see catalogue) or made-to-measure. Prototypes can be produced without tooling costs.

Shielding covers for printed circuit boards (PCBs) provide electromagnetic isolation for components mounted on boards.
The cover is assembled on the board with a belt or clips (for maintenance purposes) or soldered directly onto the board.
The assembly of cover and belt (or clips) creates a Faraday cage and therefore electromagnetic shielding on the board.
This product can be used to cover one or more components (with a multi-cavity configuration).

The most commonly used material is nickel silver (0.1mm to 0.5mm thick). Other materials can be used on request.

EMI shielding clips for EMI shielding covers or cables
EMI shielding clips are used to ground shielding covers or cables on PCBs.
The EMI shielding clip is mounted on the surface of the PCB, by soldering or screwing. It holds the shielding cover or cable in place and provides grounding while facilitating maintenance.
The EMI shielding clip is an alternative to the EMI shielding belt in terms of ease of installation (less risk of buckling) and space requirement on the PCB. It is also more economical.
EMI clips can be standard (ask for our catalogue) or made-to-measure. They are delivered in reels for automatic installation.
